Strange things, these Monday morning. Sometimes even if you don’t have get up to “make the donuts” you wake up sort of dreading facing a Monday morning anyway. Allowing for the fact that around “old #5” Monday morning isn’t much different than, say Wednesday or Saturday. Stress levels vary but they are based on totally different criteria certainly not the day of the week. Sherry had one more appointment with her eye surgeon for tomorrow. Changes of doctor’s affiliations have thrown a monkey wrench into that. She didn’t know that till Friday. Now she’s “on hold” waiting for a call from her GP’s office manager. That person seems to be the key individual in this puzzle at the moment. Some of the hard part is just standing by while it goes on. I don’t deal with the standing by waiting any better than Sherry does. No the tension isn’t to the high voltage level nor can you slice it with a knife but it’s there. I can preach a pretty good sermon on “letting go” Letting God” and having faith in the outcome etc. but when it comes to DOING it well that’s a totally different matter. As I evaluate the overall view my final (yeah right) observation is that we, apparently, are members of the human race. Really like to feel that we have some degree of control over our destinies. Oh we of little faith and lots of erroneous ego. I think that might become another “Crusty (over used) Quote.”
