The News From Here

Our lunch visit was a real treat as expected. Truly gracious friends are a Blessing in life. The graciousness is something that I’ve set as a goal that can be strived for but never mastered. Hum- let me add to that list- faith, patience, (my personal nemesis) moderation and the list goes on.
A moment of silent reflection Please.

The old grapefruit tree which provided grapefruit to far more than we’ve ever know is now a 10’ stump. While we were at lunch Jose (from next door) had it almost gone. He was waiting for me to get back so he could get into our yard to cleanup the debris on our side. Sure looks empty back there but better than a long dead tree.

Sherry is hobbling again so back to the chiro. this morning for her. She not nearly as bad as earlier this week but bad enough for another visit. Hopefully she’ll be up for this evening. Kurt’s birthday party – it’s going to be cool (both in temperature and theme). Oh Darn I guess we won’t be square dancing. Chuckle I will be digging out my cold weather cloths this afternoon. Most haven’t seen the light of day for several years. And the theme being square dancing I figure that Levis etc. are the appropriate attire –like I would think of anything else.
I haven’t mentioned it yet but it IS Friday. I sincerely hope everyone has a fun weekend ahead. If you really want to be environmentally friendly- smile and laugh – It’s exceedingly good for the rest of us.
