Way cool. It’s also something I don’t want to try either.
I’m certainly not being very productive this week- like that’s a new thing. The propane heater project is on hold till I figure out what to try next. The pilot light line is so tiny that I really can’t see it delivering enough gas to stay lit. It’s too tiny for me to attempt to run a wire or something through it to make sure there aren’t any obstructions in it. Maybe I can figure away to blow air through it and see if that makes a difference. There isn’t much use in trying to light the burner without a pilot light. I won’t pursue fixing it without a thermocouple because that IS dangerous.
