Bright sunshine and breezy with temperatures headed for almost 80. Ah makes me desire some outside activity. Let’s see now- there’s always yard work, the patio/courtyard could use a floor cleaning, both vehicles haven’t been cleaned up in quite a while. I’m tired but a book sounds good. I’m up for that at least. More motivation will come along as the day progresses. I think?
Car batteries in Central Arizona buy a expensive one and plan on replacing it every 3 years or buy a cheap one and plan on replacing it every three years. Now that’s a tough decision. Yesterday was my day to replace the Scout battery. I’d figured it was going South or the starter was getting weak. I’d tested the voltage in the battery and it was 12.5 volts and the engine would barely turn over. Hum my tiny mind pondered. It’s one or the other and I don’t have the equipment to determine which without using the old replace till it works method. Oh yeah, that isn’t practical or feasible. Fire it up and take it to a parts store. Sure enough the battery was fully charged but BAD. Sort of like me sometimes. Oh just skip that last sentence. The parts store checked and I’ve replaced that purchase 4 times now. I wish I had a warranty on the radiator – it’s lasted 10 years BUT. . .
