Farm Report
I am very happy to report this morning that there are 3 tiny tomatoes on one plant. Actually one is over 1/2 “ in diameter. This is perceived as a good thing to us farmer folks (chuckle). Romaine is reaching 10” tall but the cucumber plants don’t seem to be doing much but at least they aren’t dieing and a couple are developing but slowly.
My “kick back day” yesterday actually happened. A trip to Home Despot was primarily for distraction but included the purchase of two packs of utility knife blades. How’s that for high excitement levels? The forecast of warmer temperatures for today heightens the potential for increased activity but certainly does not guarantee it. One of the problems with those “kickback days” is that in my mental state they more or less just dissolve making the fact that it’s Thursday already seem hard to believe.
Sherry is preparing to do her volunteer day at the “Y” thrift store. She better take a cost as it’s still only 45 and the warming is taking it’s time this morning. The thrift store is in a garage behind the “Y” and she has to put lots of the merchandise outside in the drive.
Orland is the MAN! He sent me information that there’s lost funds due one of my readers. If you haven’t gotten the email it isn’t you, sorry. Not having checked that data in a very long time myself. I took a few moments to do so. Alas a good decision for one of Sherry’s nephews as there was also notice of unclaimed funds for him. Said nephew is in AZ right now helping his brother & family move to WA state compliments of the military.
