My morning view from where I spent the weekend.
I got home this morning about 8:30 AM. I thought (wrongly) that I'd miss some traffic by leaving early. Who would imagine a lot of other people thought the same thing I guess. A great weekend but I thought I'd be really glad to get home. It was empty and I mean EMPTY feeling when I did get home. I haven't been away for a while, quite a while, even long before Sherry left. That was helped by responding to emails from the weekend. One especially about the trailer. They are making the drive down from Vegas Saturday. If they like it, it'll go home with them. It's a good fit for two Thunder Roadsters- Mini versions of older model Indy and Champ cars. They run large motorcycle engines.
I hope it all works out for all of us.
My son-in-law Mike is in PHX for a conference and is planning a visit tomorrow evening. I really hope that works out too. It's been a long time.
I know this is a little late but by the time I got things settled down here (my head & emails about the trailer) it was time for me to go outside and do my usual therapy-clean the courtyard and cut the grass etc. I've come to be Thankful for such things. I think I always have been but not consciously. The shame is I have so much to get done that I postpone in favor of the therapeutic things that I'm not getting the other things done. Do you suppose I could be a little self indulgent? Please don't answer that right now-it's working. . .
On the way home this morning I saw a roll-off wrecker hauling a vehicle with one front wheel pointing one way and the other the opposite way- Do you think that is a sign for me to pursue re-building the front end of the Ford. Nah- I didn't think so either.
Well it's been fun folks but it's now dark outside and I am sure that a shower and a brew are in order. I'm pretty sure nighty night time will follow soon.
Be thinking about what I need to take Thursday to remove a counter top without damaging the counters of an old "60's" condo. I've already got the BIG hammer lined up. (chuckle)
