Once again I pretty much piddled away the morning. I slept in a bit and have just been relaxing and doing a tiny bit of thinking about issues and situations etc. Sometimes, not often enough, I think of how Blessed I really am. By Blessed I mean a gift of the Almighty. Currently that emphasis is focused on family. Believe me it encompasses a lot more than family but my family has really come through for me in the last couple of years. What makes it a true thing of wonder is few of us (my family) actually see each other very often nor have much in common. If that doesn’t amaze you, I’ll add, they have all heard almost all my stories and still listen patiently.
I was scheduled to help my friend Kurt start the remodel of his mother’s condo but an email last night postponed that. I hope it isn’t due to additional health problems in his household.
At this point my “plan” for some of the day is prepare the gate area in back for the hoped exit of a certain giant white trailer. Saturday is the target day and I can have it simplified at bit if everything is re-arranged and cleaned up. That’s not a very aggressive goal but it’s a start. I may even pull it forward so the tailgate can be lowered for the prospective buyer. I have Adam’s boss’s electric tote’r which is maybe slightly easier that hooking it on the Scout and pulling it about 10-12 feet. Whichever works? Those kinds of distractions are not helpful to a buyer in the final stages of a decision.
