All went well yesterday at the stitch removal. The results were OK with follow-up in 6 Months. On the way home I stopped by the massive beverage store on the East edge of Tempe. I’d tried 2 bottles of a brand of Russian Lager that I’d found exceptional to my tastes. The stop educated me to the fact that the maker of that brand makes quite a number of different brews. At least 9 and the store had 4 of them. Well what could I do except to acquire 2 more bottles of two different styles? One was an “Extra” and the other a “Porter”. Baltika brand is the name. I don’t expect to be disappointed with any of their products but then I have been wrong before – I think – I’m pretty sure I was once, at least. . .
Other News from “old #5”- A meeting is going to be held Dec. 5th regarding this neighborhood and the potential of it becoming declared an “Historical Neighborhood.” I intend to be there. There’s a lot more I need to know about what that entails before I can “jump on the band wagon.” As I recall from past experiences from long, long ago there are some downsides- a further limiting of an owner’s rights for exterior tastes comes to mind immediately.
I fear that I may be closing in on “grease need.” Deep fried grease with maybe some breaded Shrimp and REAL French Fries and maybe a little coleslaw just to help absorb some of the grease. I’m just kidding about the absorption.
There are places I need to visit- exciting places full of adventure and learning. You know what I mean –the drug store, Sam’s Club and the grocery store.
