Hey I’m on a streak. No I ain’t streaking – I’d get a chill (chuckle). I have been pushing pretty hard to be productive DAILY. I’m not so concerned with the production but with the consistent prolonged activity and I know that the projects will get done if I just do that.
Yesterday I built legs and base for a small camping gas grill. Bill had it for years and used it a lot. Then the plastic frame and legs started crumbling and soon there weren’t any. It has a grill on one end and a flat top on the either. I had a table for it and now I have legs & a base made of steel unfortunately the regulator valve doesn’t work I discover. I’m pretty sure that I have a coupe of those laying around somewhere here but they haven’t been used for a long time either so I’ll likely have to try them till I find one that does work.
Making the the parts for the base was no big deal. Attaching them WAS. Blind bolts with the heads inside the square tubing and getting the nuts on inside the grill needed an other set of hands that wasn't available. It took some doing but I get her done. Now to make it work. . . Yeah I COULD have tried it first but I'm pretty sure I can fix it I just hope I don't have to buy anything for it- I've gotten it this far and all the parts came from inventory.
