Well folks its Monday morning, not early Monday morning but its still Monday morning. I was fully expecting a long and emotional weekend. I was Blessed with neither. Friday evening was with the Daniels in the Courtyard here. A fire in the fireplace made the temperature just right, some cheese & apple slices with crackers supplemented with cocktail franks in BBQ sauce provided the snacks. A couple pints of Porter didn’t hurt the atmosphere either. My music selection was my own and generated a few humorous remarks or I took them for humor anyway. 60s & 70’s easy listening isn’t really popular anymore I guess. An invitation to the Daniels Saturday afternoon included burgers & fries, Shrimp and pork tea rolls and a few laughs, always a healthy way to enjoy a Saturday afternoon. As I was going out to the shop Sunday to begin the laborious task of picking up and putting away tools Shorty came out and said “we’re having Pizza this evening and you are to be there.” Well what could I say but “Yes Sir.” I’ll admit that there were some emotional moments but not the kind that hurt too badly and there were chuckles and laughs to offset them. And just incase you’re wondering my life isn’t about food all the time but I’ll admit that it often helps make an occasion better

Now it’s time to push ahead with projects that are becoming overdue in my opinion. I going to have to call our website host and got some needed information. I hope they are as helpful, nice and friendly as they’ve always been in the past. When my eyes and mind decide that it’s time for me to do other things there’s always a vehicle to attack. I left out some parts in the steering column of the Scout intentionally. The horn hasn’t worked in all the years I’ve had it and I know why. The wire that goes down the column is bad and I’m not interested in trying to pull another one but some semi associated part seems to provide the cancel effect to the turn signals and I sort of like that feature as do other drivers around me. Also I don’t want the wheel lock functional. If someone is going to steal the old beast THAT isn’t going to stop them. I’m hoping the Ford will hold together till I get the Scout back on the road even if the radiator isn’t replaced YET. I’d really like to burn some of the less expensive fuel in the Scout while it’s available just for fun of it.

Rain? Why Yes we’ve had some AGAIN. A nice rain even in my perspective- slow gentle easy showers BUT enough is enough, I’m ready for sunshine again. Yes I AM spoiled.
