All set for another airport run this morning IF the weather in Denver holds. It’s a circumventious route to Jacksonville FL but that was the ticket deal. The local leg of the trip is extended a bit by some construction but only 5-10 minutes.
The rain of yesterday is passed but not dried up yet. I’m very glad to report that there isn’t any more rain on the 10 day forecast with normal temperatures till midweek then it warms up a little. I guess I shouldn’t even mention the weather here in sympathy for those in the Midwest and north.
Somehow it seems like Monday which I know is a day late but. . . I think having company from afar yesterday probably triggered some weekend thing in my head. As for what goes on in there, Well it’s anyone’s guess.
It was a little empty feeling around here last evening. Probably the weather added to that feeling of gloom but a good book, some music, an (1) Imperial Stout and snacks took the edge off of it. One of my standard evening meal/snack - meat (this time sliced heated hot link), extra sharp white cheddar cheese, olives, pickles and crackers. If that keeps happening I may have to make some homemade summer sausage. I haven’t done that in along time.
The Ford is on my agenda today but I’m not sure “ye ole back” is ready. I hope I’ve learned to not push that issue but to go with my inclination and perception. If plain old laziness plays a role then that’s better than ignoring the signs and being really sorry.
