I HAVE a LIST! I just made it so it's current. It doesn't SEEM impossible but compared to my production lately it might be a tall hill. If it proves to be I still have time before my goal comes crashing down around me.

For now- It's time for breakfast and to get my dishes soaking. Onward & Upward - - - - I think. More later

I did pretty well today for an old Codger. The partners place is in good shape with milk and water in the cold fridge, heat is on, there's food to just heat up there was a little more involved but. . . The guestroom is ready to put the bed cloths on, bathroom is fine and it's dusted etc.
The beams that everyone has heard too much about are finished except to the roof repair awaiting a decision on how far to take the repair. I also got the low spot where the leak is located shimmed up to minimize the puddling of water so the roof repair I have in mind should be fine. It's the beam that is in question now. It has three spots in it that have serious knots that have not aged well and the grain around the knots is not good - separating and opening up. Replacing the it ain't goin a happen at this point but "sistering it" with 2x8 from support to support might be a good thing. My concern with that plan is that it's sagged and twisted enough to make attaching a "sister" to it could be challenge and the span is enough that a 2x8 really isn't a lot compared what the beam was originally. Oh Well - THAT isn't going to keep me awake tonight. In fact the more I think about it the less concerned I am, maybe because right now I'm too tired to worry also. (chuckle) I'm hoping the rain is out of the way for a while. I miss having the courtyard and fireplace for my evenings. Getting that area clean and cat & cat hairless will be, hopefully, accomplished tomorrow. I'd like to borrow a dog for a SHORT while between 8:00 PM and 6:00 AM. That's probably not a good idea for lots of reasons. (chuckle)
Well the old clock on the wall says- - - -Whoops I forgot to get a battery. No, No, The clock doesn't say that, it says the same thing it's said for a week 3:07. Darn and I gave a buck for that clock at a garage sale now I have to invest more in it. . . Hey I'm tired not dead YET - I have to make up my own chuckles
