The News From Here

Not the way I wanted to start the day. The sound of heavy equipment arriving. Oh Joy Let’s put in new curbs down Center. OK they weren’t too great but . . . So knowing that unless I did something all the granite in that area would magically disappear by the time I got home tomorrow night and I’d be left with about 6-8 feet all along the NEW curb with no granite to cover it. Well I did the best I was up for. I took pictures of the before and I took pictures of the granite I raked back and I showed the job supervisor what I had done and asked if he could the dirt out of the granite PLUS I made sure he saw me taking lots of pictures. I THINK he got the point even though his spoken English wasn’t so great and I have no idea how is listening English is.
