I do hereby declare that the open West patio floor re-coat is once again done and completed. My plan is to leave it another day, at least, to let the finish harden longer. I always hate that first scratch on a fresh floor. I won't say that it's a wonderful job but I'll say it's OK. I'll really stretch that statement out and say it IS a vast improvement. I picked up the patch material for the courtyard floor area and some repair needed out around the office entrance. They'll take a few days and will need to cure a while before painting. It seems there is a lot of painting in my future. The entire West side really NEEDS painted along with a little stucco repair. I think I'm up for that - mostly it's the ladder stuff that I don't look forward to. Oh and there is that part where I have to lay on the roof and reach over the parapet wall to work - that's not a favorite part either and then there's the ________. Best I not remain on this subject or I'll talk myself out of it.
I kind of wish I had some weekend plans. I've really been staying close to home. I can't even remember when I went up town for a brew and some music. Its been months - Admittedly I have enjoyed brew and tunes in and or around Crusty' Cavern regularly but some "away time" might be positive mentally.
