Who would have thought that I’d have trouble finding a “Dap” product? I WAY under estimated the floor patch required and when I went back to my local hardware store they were out of it. Home Depot didn’t carry it finally I found TWO boxes at another Ace Hardware and I bought them both just in case. It looks like I’ll need it too. It’ll be interesting to see how well this material holds. Some of the patches I’m RE-doing, I did many years ago.
Finally the tiny side patio next to the dining room window is almost presentable again. I had started keeping the blinds closed so as to NOT see it. It’s a very small space (7x18’) but I filled the yard vacuum bag 3 times and have a pile of trash from that space. We’ll see if I can keep it up – I summer I tend to use it. I’ve had plans to assemble a mini outside kitchen out there for summer use when it’s just for me. Mostly to minimize the heat in side. It isn’t like I’m short of outside kitchen equipment or anything like that.
If I find I’m up for a million or two squats and/or deep knee bends today I MIGHT get the parching done. I could prime the spots then and actually think about painting the courtyard floor, and the area in front of the old office- Wow more FUN. First I need to check the old paint I have for the area in front of the office. It’s really old. Shorty was talking about re-painting his front sidewalk before he leaves so I’d best check the paint today.
