I failed to mention yesterday that the first picture is a cactus that I have two of growing here. They came from Bud’s (Sherry’s brother) when he had a house in AJ. They’ve been growing here for 7-10 years, I don’t remember for sure but that was the first bloom I had from either of them. Pretty cool, the blooms are over 6” in diameter.
20 + tomatoes are ripening on the vine- NOW I have to start my bacon collection in preparation. I pulled up the Kale from the garden- I don’t eat it but it was fun watching it grow to an unexpected size. Some branches were over 2 ft long and really neat to look at but it was casting a shadow over one tomato plant (chuckle). Yeah it really was.
As of yesterday late afternoon I was back to the courtyard floor. Sitting on the floor with a grinder trying to smooth out rough spots and old patches. I felt I could “improve” some of them and discovered that it was probably a good idea I AM improving some of them and others I found had crumbling concrete under them and needed re patching. Lot of work for returns that only I will know about but Hey I will appreciate my effort.
Gurrr Old computers are about to get me down. AVG anti virus system kicks in to do a background check and things come to a halt for a few second and sometimes much longer. Sometimes free isn’t cheap enough. More likely it’s due to updated software versions that aren’t intended to run on dinosaurs.
