I’m watering THE tomato plant ONE more time. There are still a few little tomatoes that might make it. Are you ready for this? I’m watering the grass too. I do that from time to time in summer but I guess not enough this summer. We’ll see if that’s the problem – It’s sure not a lawn now – just a spotty back yard with some green places. It’s so small that I really think if I’m going to keep it grass – it should all be green and lush. I have been wrong before though and I can recall several times that the price for something was just too high, like daily. I don’t know why I worry about watering the grass- across the street the city offices lawn gets watered twice a day.

It’s full dark now but just a bit ago I was out checking the watering process and noticed the sky. The normal sunset’s beautiful colors were in the East and to the west a pretty much traditional sunset of mixtures of blue. I double checked my thinking, in my case that’s a rule, YEP the beautiful sunset was in the EAST! Alas I think I figured it out- the sun light was being reflected off the overcast evening skies. It happens but not often and it’s really not for long. It’s not uncommon for me to be a little “turned around” but that took some pondering.

I got quite a bit done today – Hum well it feels like it anyway. Although I don’t think I’ll calculate exactly what all it was right now, it feels like it and for the moment that’s enough for “old Crusty.”
