The more I procrastinate the more issues arise – I think there may be some real profound and valid basis for that but I don’t want to try to address that too seriously. The shock to my system might be unsafe. (chuckle)
I started re-covering the outside shaded area designated for mechanical issues and immediately the wind started blowing. Not a good thing when dealing with fairly large tarps and uncertain procedures. I am doing it differently this time as mentioned previously and the tarps are never exactly the same size or have the grommets in the same places regardless of what the packaging says. So every time it’s a new arrangement. I mention that because it’s now more of a priority – The Ford now has a leaking hose in addition to the head gasket so it’s basically a very large paper weight for now. It IS STILL mobile though so I’d best get into it and fix something just to get started before it becomes an insurmountable paper weight.
I am very happy to report that the intense fireworks show from the neighbor’s ended at 10:00 PM on the dot last night. There was a party going on also so I stayed up and outside till it all calmed down just to watch for embers falling. Oh Darn- having to stay outside and read a book till late in the evening (for me) - something I so rarely do (laugh out loud now).
Bill & Dawn did another exceptional cookout for the holiday. It turned out very well attended and enjoyed, at least till about dark then I headed homeward after that I can’t report. (chuckle) It was all family and neighbors so I knew everyone and enjoyed all the B.S. that flowed generously. Not that I contributed all that much to the B.S. (chuckle) but I tried my best (laugh out loud again). See I even provide simple directions for reading “The News”.
