It was a peaceful weekend around "old #5." A lot of cleanup after the dust and rain storm. Nothing serious just lots of dried mud returning to dust as it dried but it had stuck to the surfaces. Too heavy and too much to sweep or blow off so I used a lot of the Colorado river and got most of it.
Friday night was a rare "night out" for me. How could I miss "Old Time Rock & Roll with some period blues a few blocks up the street. I couldn't and I really enjoyed it. The storm hit just as I was returning and walking up to my front door.
I actually made it to church again Sunday morning. Again I'm pretty sure it isn't the church that I will get involved in but it's a serious start that direction. A little old lady sat a couple of seats away and boy she had a beautiful voice - soft and weak but good. I mentioned it to her after services and I believe I made her day.
The first of this week is, what for me, busy. Bill is bringing their car over to tune it up for a scheduled trip this afternoon, Tue. AM is my VA annual check up, and Wed. I'm meeting Kurt.
Have a great week - that's my goal also.
