I made it uptown Friday evening for Mesa’s Motorcycles on Main and for my Porter on Main. There were a LOT of motorcycles. I don’t know why I was shocked by all the LED lights on the cycles but I was. I can’t say they added much to the already over loaded motorcycles but it was interesting. The brewery was packed- I got the last seat and the line for carry outs was out the door and out into the outside seating area. I wouldn’t have stood in line that long, even for a good Porter. Saturday I was on a roll. I got a lot of catch up done around “Old #5.” Most impressive TO ME was getting my bedroom actually cleaned thoroughly. It was long overdue and I even tacked some “what to do with” stuff. Still there’s a lot of that needed but a little at a time and someday. . .
Sunday Dawn & Bill had a cookout and before that I helped Bill & Adam shuffle cars around. It was all fun for me- something different and time with everyone. Bill indicated that he “was not doing anything” Monday. I thought that was such a fine plan that I adopted it my use. I ate, did a little shopping and read but by early evening it gotten to me and I trimmed the Oleander and Sage bush by my back door. The Oleander keeps covering another bush back in the corner and I have to trim it to let some sunshine in. I think that about summarizes my holiday weekend. Well not all- I discovered that for two weeks in a row I have set my cell phone on “airplane mode” when I went to church and never turned it back on till Monday. Never even thought of it- Not even when I put it on the charger at night. Dumb
I hope to continue the “being on a roll” through this week. There are things like getting the Ford through emissions and new license that are a high priority. If I wait till just before the end of the month and have emissions problems then it’s a hassle. PLUS I want to empty an over (way over) full book case in my bedroom. That will be a few more boxes to add to the already silly large stack I have in the old office. At least they won’t be as dusty as they were before I cleaned. (chuckle)
