Gurr-
Chaos at “Old #5” continues along with a few hits of stress just
for good measure. Glad and Thankful it isn’t between the “Partners”
and me. Brad just can’t understand how or why he upsets them so
badly. I kind of feel sorry for all of them and I can’t say I enjoy
being in the middle of it. It’s not more than I can deal with at
this point. I’ve heard all three’s point of view today – One of
those situations where the differences are in each of the
individual's perspective of things and how things should be done.
Tough for them all.
I picked up three drafting table stools today (three re-purposed by me to bar stools). Sound strange? Actually I think they’ll be just fine. Great shape and with foot rests & adjustable height & swivel, they are more comfortable than the old recovered- re-cushioned re-about everything ones they replace AND all three match. The adjustable backs work out well for me but till I see how others fit? (chuckle) If they aren’t the answer they are still an improvement.
Today’s goals- achieved and more! Taxes Paid ! USAA issues all taken care of PLUS a strange thing on my credit report taken care of. For years occasionally mail arrived here with a name we aren’t acquainted with at all. We simply either threw them away or returned them to the mailman. My credit report today showed his name as AKA or alias. WHOO. They checked it out and couldn’t find a link of any kind, anywhere and removed it. Maybe THAT was why I struggled with USAA ID verification ? Could be I guess. I guess I should check some others credit reports? Input welcome.
How many out there could get excited about a 4 drawer chest that needed a little work? Not too many I expect but “old Crusty” was. OK I’ll admit that the cost is relative in such things around here but $5 ? Shoot - even if I hadn’t wanted one for me I’d have bought it, fixed it and resold it for 50-$75. The top is a little less than perfect but I have a shallow counter top to go over that anyway AND it was clean. It doesn’t take a lot for me sometimes PLUS I haven’t taken a picture of an inside or outside lighted 3½ ft water fall I scored. I don’t know if I can make it all work yet but. . . I know the transformer is missing but it’s a simple 12 volt DC thing. No big deal but it’ll be just the thing to occupy a potentially interesting afternoon. Well actually there are only about 987 projects like that in line AHEAD of it.
