9:00 PM I’ve been home from Adam & Trindal’s for quite a while now. Just kicking back and relaxing. The drive back was party fun and partly hang on. Hang on due only to the dirt roads and the switchbacks, That’s wrong – THAT was the fun part. Then came the hang on part. I think it’s been a few years since my headlights were aimed ( a lot longer than I’ve owned the old Scout) and I know the suspension has sagged a bit -Yeah I’ll blame it in that – Sure that’ll work. Although I’ve been out to their place a number of times it hasn’t been enough times for me to navigation and for it to become natural to me and then there’s construction everywhere along the way till I got to the freeway. Then it was look out I’m going home. Ha Ha Ha Hammer down. OK, OK, I really WISH I had had my new glasses. Yet to be ordered via VA. Maybe if I get my priorities straight I’ll get to PHX VA and get them ordered tomorrow.
Xavier’s forge has become a full on family deal. He (they) has a brick floor and metal roof and a new forge. The new forge isn’t operational yet but they are getting close. Almost all the material has come from an old junk structure on their property and the sand needed to set the brick floor was screened out of the wash going through their property. I really have to make it a point to get out there more often – there’s the people first and then the mountains and desert and the roads getting there and well, you see what I mean.

I’m Thankful for the good times, now to learn to be Thankful for ALL the times.
