Greetings from sunny & warm AZ. It’s now 8:30 PM and I just walked back in the door. Yeah I’m certainly of advanced maturity. Why I can remember when - - - nope ain’t going there. Anyway here’s what I just posted on fb.
There I was, all hot, dirty and sweaty when I thought IT'S Tuesday night. Amazing how quick I CAN shower & ect. when the motivation is right. Yep I was out again tonight! Fantastic!
All ages tonight from a young lady (about 9 or 10) who did really well singing and this set with a fine young man doing lead with a not so young man doing the vocal well also. Fun stuff without a slouch or stumbler in the group. For the first hour or so there was ONE bar tender. A packed house and food and drinks to serve and ONE server for a couple of hours. She is the regular bartender and someone who deserves some kadu’s ! She not the chatty, always smiling hustling bartender type. As I was walking out thru the back I saw her sitting in the parking lot smoking. I said you did great job tonight and you are certainly entitled to a break. She said “it might not have been a good idea because I’m not sure I can get up again.” I could understand. I said “You were on it but no one could possibly have kept up” and I believe it. There are still people out there who REALLY try to rise to the occasion and they need all the appreciation they can get.
That was my (early) evening along with a good visit with some new acquaintances.
I got a couple of things done today that were very high up on my list TOO, Wow I’m on a roll- More about that in the morning maybe. (chuckle)
