Tuesday 8:50 AM

OK old man get moving. Lots of un-finished “Need Done’s” enough to make it easy to ignore (chuckle). It doesn’t take much to distract me. I think I’ll use this forum to hold myself a tiny bit ‘accountable’. Onward old crusty!
Well see how this works out. . .
Tuesday 7:50 PM

I’m back to report on my progress. The worst of the “Not OK Corral” is cleaned up and the fence is accessible. Based on the time & effort required that should have taken at least a few of paragraphs to say. (smile) Along the way I made a trip to Harbor Freight for wheels for a small light duty hand truck. I knew I had a stash of Apple wood back there. Not much but enough for several smoking/cooking operations. The problem was I needed to segregate it yet have it available without digging. PLUS I’m running very low on firewood for evening entertainment and relaxation sessions (therapy) . Ah the problems of the affluent and generally self centered old codgers. Ha Ha Ha The lie is the first part but the truth is the second part – like you didn’t know that. When I realized HOW low the firewood inventory was it was too late to correct that situation. Alas that’s what ‘tomorrows’ were made for. Just my guess. . . By the way it was a very dirty process but the landfill gained a cubic foot of dirt at least that had blown in accompanied by a Kazillion Bougainvillea blooms that had gotten caught up in the wind. The sum and jest of the thing is ‘it’s ok’ and I got a lot done. It all wasn’t planned but appropriate. Like the pictures of the Keg Carrier that I made and have no use for anymore. Pictures for Craig’s list I guess. Next pictures of the Kegerator that I don’t have much use for anymore. Even I don’t have much use for it anymore I’m sorry to say.
I snuck over over to the Legion after cleaning up myself (much needed) and thoroughly enjoyed the occasion. snuck because there was talk of ‘the partners & I going out for BBQ this evening but I suspect the (upcomming) Friday event took precedent in their thinking.
Shorty meets his new eye doctor in the morning. I DO hope that goes well. I pretty well know what to expect – all the prior exam’s and diagnosis get started all over- I know and understand about that. But then it’s easier for me than Shorty, he’s been through the examinations and tests before but another new (to him) doctor will want their own tests.
