I may be stretching things a bit but I’m on a roll. A post two days is a row. But “what’s that quote about a journey of ??? begins with the 1st step ?” I have made this 1st step so many, many times. Ha Ha Ha I can’t even remember when “The News From Here” began.
I had a good day – way busy – Breakfast with Kurt – then looking at a lot of “Needs Restoring” smaller campers (marketing term for next step, the wrecking yard)– A guy had a lot full of them – Well he may be in the business of restoration but nothing showed any recent work at all and none had titles. I came to the conclusion he’s buying re-po’s and/or “just get it out of my yard” units and reselling them.
Next up was helping Shorty put up new blinds for their front windows. OK I’m up for that sized challenges (chuckle) then dinner in the bar with “the partners.” Hum -this sounds like a lot of complaining but it wasn’t a bad day. I certainly wasn’t bored but then it doesn’t take much to entertain me as witnessed by my attempts at humor.
Right now I think I have about an hour reading time before my eyes begin to not reopen after a blink.
