How tried are you of hearing me complain about doing laundry? It’s done, put away and the bed is fresh and ready! And I didn’t lose a single item. No odd socks or anything. (smile)
Everything seems to be copacetic with the partners right now. Shorty is doing things that don’t support the idea that he wants out immediately but I’m waiting for the Realtor’s visit. That’s a concern as I expect it to be HIGH. Estimates by a Realtor thinking of a profitable listing are usually way optimistic. No offense intended to Realtor’s it’s how they make their living. I probably spent as much time in that business and they have. A couple life times ago and in a totally different world.
Shorty’s daughter is coming to visit for a few a days, a few more days and my friends from CO. arrive in their RV. They are staying at an RV park a few miles away. Good times but busy.
The ‘check out gal’ (nice young lady) asked if I had anymore Lemons. “Nope they are all gone for this season.” She said how much they enjoyed them. Nice. It is just in time as the tree is starting to bloom again. I never expected to enjoy that Meyers Lemon tree nearly as much as I have. I planted it during a period when having things grow and prosper & thrive etc was a real Blessing. Not to say it isn’t now just I’m thankful for it and glad to be able to give about 98% of the crop away to folks who were happy to get them.
One load taken to the a local charity thrift store (carefully chosen) and donated! Going to take a while to make a dent in my old office space but I’m a’work’en on it! Next up is my kegeriator and extra accessories and a couple empty kegs PLUS a carrier to bring a keg home with out lifting it. That I’ll try to sell. I might even throw in a small (glassed in) commercial style popcorn popper. Things have changed in “Crusty’s Cavern”. In the office there’s still some leftover collectible stuff - not much and mostly not as collectible as we thought obviously. (smile) Heavy on the stuff. How about an (authentic) antique baby doll bed- I might even include my late 1600’s English handmade copper & brass tea kettle. That – well maybe not yet- it looks like it ‘belongs sitting on the hearth’ of the stone fireplace inside and below the stained glass window from Armstrong Street in Alton IL. Oh Oh meandering down memory lane before packing another load to dispose of isn’t very cheerful. THEN I remember loading up and heading out hours before the sun was coming up and setting up & displaying. THEN trying to be smiling and ready to actually sell stuff.
This may not have been a good idea. Ha Ha Ha Just kidding, mostly. This I know - I ain’t climbing into a fresh made bed without a shower first !
