Remember yesterday’s post about “The News” ? Guess what ? Yeah bout the same tonight but I will struggle on. The reason for ‘No News’ is mostly because I didn’t make any. I didn’t get the laundry ready to go for a ride & I didn’t get the last two rooms (bedroom & dressing room) cleaned either. I’m pretty sure that I have mentioned that I’m pretty good for one day a time. That second day is without drive so doesn’t seem to get very far. (smile) Today I elected not worry about it again. Hey! Something else I’m becoming very good at. (chuckle) I should add that it doesn’t seem to keep me awake at night either. That’s REALLY good or I’d probably just coast all the time. (Don’t dwell on that Crusty)
I DID get to Sprouts (grocery store) and picked up some Cucumbers & Onions. Not JUST onions - this year’s crop of Valdaila Onions. I’m ready for those. Cucumbers & Onions with Garlic & ? in apple cider vinegar. Darn ! I know they are better after sitting for a while so it’s probably a good thing I didn’t come home and make them. I’d probably have to go back and get more fixens tomorrow. By the time I made it home for the day - the day was fairly well along and a bev. & book (no blazing fire required) were what I really wanted. It hit 99 today so maybe I should declare a summer version of my BB&B – call it BB&C. (C= cooler & fan.
