Whoo - Two days in a row! Am I on a roll or what ? Now what to say?
I sometimes follow Charlie Daniel’s soap-box ( https://www.charliedaniels.com/soap-box online).
That’s the extent of my being a fan. Oh I enjoy his band’s work sometimes but not a Big fan. His observations, ideas and political convictions have made me a “I’m looking for a point of contradiction or conflict” with the guy. So far I can’t seem to find much to base a ‘rant’ on. Seems to be pretty well founded – well spoken and well thought out. Wow - a popular figure in the world today and I think I respect his opinions! I still have a problem ‘declaring’ party.
I still remember coming into the kitchen when my folks were discussing switching parties to Republican. Yeah I was pretty young in 1953 and frankly I don’t remember why I was so relieved but I WAS. I can’t say I’m a proud republican but in comparison to the only real other option I am still a proud conservative and a registered republican. I’m fairly sure that that isn’t a shock to anyone. Ha Ha Ha.
