Another Monday with a giant white trailer still in the backyard. I think it’s getting about time to get serious about just “dumping” it. When it’s a question about how much the owner is going to lose and it isn’t costing anything just sitting there I wouldn’t be in a hurry either.

11:30 already and I haven’t done anything except the breakfast routine. That’s OK though as it’s almost time for me to go to VA for a 2:00 appointment with a dermatologist. We can’t be having any superficial flaws on this fine, seasoned old body can we? Well frankly I don’t much care about that but the doc said I ought to get them taken care of. I’m going to guess that my return trip might be via the scenic route. It’ll be rush hour most likely so going through the reservation might be a good idea. I haven’t gone that route in a very long time. Some years ago I often took that way back to Mesa from Scottsdale. I should plan a stop for some supplies along the way home but sometimes, as convenient as it would be, I’m just not in the mood. We’ll see. . .

I did get the Scout unloaded & CLEANED OUT. It had a fair sized pile of split pine wood from Bill & Dawn’s tree and an old gas grill that they didn’t want anymore. It was a camping stove with a grill and flattop and I did a serious detail cleaning job on it. Now I need to build a base for it. The base that came on it was some sort of plastic and has long since gone away. I really think it would be handy right outside the dining room on the small side patio. I’d be a lot more likely to use it there than anywhere and it’s just about the right size for just me PLUS it’s not 60 feet from the inside kitchen.

In the past it wasn’t unusual for me to have some strange trailer around here but none were as large of the white one.

That one was a beauty-not in appearance but in use it was great. 6'x6' cabin in front and 6'x8' cargo area and the floor was only 10" off the ground.
This one I bought after it had been burned and I spent a lot of time on it but not much $$$.

This one had been a utility bed of a old pickup truck at one time. It looked a lot nicer when it was done but I don't seem to have a picture of it in it's later glory. It looked a lot better in saddle tan than flat black. There are more but that's a taste of the trailer past at "old #5."
