Darn, I’m certainly not as far along with my preparations as I’d expected to be today. As I’m so adept avoiding procrastination, I’m shocked. Now that should produce a laugh or two. It IS an awakening and a reminder that I don’t like being behind in simple tasks that I CAN and frankly don’t even mind tackling.
End self-sermon mode.
I just noticed the time I have high hopes that tomorrow morning won’t require so much self administered artificial motivation to get done with my self-appointed assignments. Beside I expect you are tired of reading about them.

I first read your sentence above "I don't even follow my own distractions" and I thought- 'I can identify with that'.
