It must be Monday. Last week I had a guy looking at Adam’s pickup truck. I raised the tonneau over the bed and noticed the freshly re-painted tonneau had rubbed the paint off a spot on the bed. Oh Great a confrontation with the body shop coming. I went out and got in the truck this morning and drove to the body shop. The manager was off sick but I announced my complaint to the assistant manager and was told I’d have to take it up the manager when he got back to work. I wasn’t happy and told him so. I went out and the haunted truck just had to NOT start. I had to go in and ask for help. The starter solenoid was bad. After hot wiring the solenoid I got it home. I’m sitting here relaxing a bit with a new solenoid laying in front of me to remind me I have work to do. Changing it isn’t a big deal but it does require a position that can be problematic so. I’ll probably do it in a couple stages, at least one of which will be a break. I am really starting to dislike that vehicle immensely.
”The partners” are working on their preparation to depart AZ. There is a big annual quilt show up town this weekend that Shirley wants to see so they will likely leave Saturday morning. It has been a good season minus Shorty’s TIA session. From all indications he is fully recovered, Thankfully. I’ll admit that having TIA’s would be like a big hammer hanging right over your head. Never know when another one might come along and he doesn’t realize it when they do.
So far that solenoid hasn’t made my moves toward installing it’s self so I guess I’m elected.

  1. that's a funny thing about auto parts, isn't it?
NONE of them seem to have much ambition towards self-installation...
