Whoops AGAIN- I know what my problem was yesterday morning. I had an appointment at 8:00 AM at the tire shop AND I slept in a little. By the time everything had settled down and under control I was ready for a book in front of the cooler.
I’m sure after seeing a picture you immediately understand why I worked so hard to acquire the trailer frame (chuckle). Let me rephrase that –You can maybe sort of understand why I worked so hard to acquire it for practically nothing. Last few words really say it. Well it is home and it rolls very easily by hand so I’ll going to let it rest a while & decide what to do with it.
I mentioned I burned my arm on a sun heated newly painted wheel. What I didn’t realize was that I REALLY BURNED MY ARM. It was not pretty yesterday and by evening I thought “maybe it’s a good thing I’m going to VA Thursday.” Not so much this morning- the swelling is almost gone and it’s not so angry looking. I’ve lived in central AZ long enough to know that July & Aug are not good months to be working outside without a shade overhead. What is really dumb is I have a couple old patio umbrellas with stands that are ugly just for that kind of situation. That being said I’m not running out to dig one out just now- NOT YET.
Just for the record I hope to NOT have to change any tires for a while. Tires have been the source of a lot of problems in my life but then they have also been the source of income many times also. My first back injury was while lifting a new duplex tire building a display in a Firestone store back in the 60’s. I’d have to say that I learn pretty quickly but I don’t always retain well. (chuckle) Ya think-
