A boat trailer? I think not, that would mean that I would end up with a boat. A boat isn’t something I want. It did make me chuckle. Actually I can’t figure out why anyone would put supports where they are currently located nor can I figure out what kind of vehicle the axle came from. It’s very old based on the width of the axle and it was a steering axle at one time but it has 6 lugs, though not original. I can see where it had mounts for trailing radius arms but there’s not much else to identify it. Frankly its just curiosity that plagues me and it isn’t going to bother me much anyway.
I’m not sure what my problem is but I’m tired of the heat. I’m tired of the heat after all these years. No I don’t expect to leave the desert but I’m ready for less heat for this year. It’s been a long siege of well above normal temperatures here and its continuing it seems. The average for this time of year is about 100 and we are expecting around 110 till next week. Sorry about my complaining it’s probably the heat (chuckle).
I’m pretty sure I won’t be posting tomorrow morning. I have appointments scheduled and want to get moving early. We’ll see if I can slip in right after the rush hour and before it gets really hot. Hey- it’s a plan, probably a silly plan but yet. . .
Last week while I had company Buddy asked me about the various bird parts in the front yard. Certainly an understandable question as indeed there were parts of pigeons in the front yard. The answer was very easy and a single word- cats. It isn’t pretty and I don’t like cleaning them up but it needs to be done from time to time. I don’t really like loose outside cats taking over but as long as they address the pigeon problem I dislike them less. Actually I like most pets but an over population of cats annoy and frustrate me. I’ve had to forcibly remove them from furniture to sit down and then there is their litterbox attitude toward the granite in the yard. The cats added to people walking their dogs and encouraging them to use the granite for the same purpose the cats do really get me worked up. OK their residue doesn’t kill any grass but it stinks and I REALLY hate stepping in it. Wow I’m on a “rant and roll” this morning. I think I’ll stop for now- I’m probably not improving my attitude for the day.
