This is exactly why I don’t chisel stuff in stone. Here it is, the morning when I actually have things to do and I wake up long before the crack of dawn and I’m ready to get with it and low and behold it’s way too early to hit the road. I expect enough “waiting” later in the day, no reason to start it now. I guess I’ll just have another cup of coffee that would be different, NOT.
If I don’t cut the grass soon I’ll have to looking for a goat. Well, maybe not THAT serious but I’ve let it grow unusually tall because of the heat. It tend s to shade the ground and help maintain the moisture that I BUY to keep it alive in the summer. That DOES come a time when it’s cut it or wade through it. The home brew, witches concoction or whatever I call it that I have used on the cacti to fight Mealy Bugs WORKS. It’s just very difficult to spray all the surfaces so it takes me a few passes to get it all. It’s getting late in the season so maybe one more application will “do it” for this year. It also appears to work on the Bougainvilleas’- My guess is natural soap (not detergent) and Cayenne pepper will discourage about anything that eats leaves or attaches its self to plants. The cayenne pepper does tend to plug up the sprayer sometimes but that’s a lot better than the nasty chemical that I’d had to use before AND lots cheaper too.
I’m not into posting pictures of myself but here is one –
Should be good for a chuckle anyway. You may not realize it but it isn’t recent (chuckle). Let me count backward and try to estimate how many lifetimes ago it was. Nope really can’t do that- I’m not good at that sort of thing. Late 70’s or early 80’s in that range anyway. I’ve been a crazy old codger for so long it is really hard to recall not being.
