Oh Friday-
I won’t go into all of yesterday but it was one long day. It was spent at VA, from 9:00 AM till 5:00 for 3 appointments. The parking is so bad that I wouldn’t leave between them. That didn’t leave a lot of time or energy for much else in the day.
I’m going to leave the grass a few more days and most of my other projects. I think I’ll take it easy for a while
Tomorrow is scheduled to be a big day in Downtown Mesa. The Light Rail runs tomorrow! “They” are really proud of the additional 3 miles and some are counting on it bringing more folks to the downtown. Personally I don’t think that will happen. MY guess is for every one that comes to the downtown area on it at least 3 will NOT drive to or through the area due to the now very narrow streets and number of traffic lights plus how long it takes the traffic lights to cycle though. Naturally they neglected to consult me on the matter (chuckle). It’s really a shame as that few blocks has improved considerably and the number of interesting businesses has increased.
My quandary of the moment is “EATING.” There is no question I need to – it’s WHAT to eat. First I’ll clean the fridge and THEN evaluate what is left and probably go get a “good” hamburger. I haven’t had one in quite a while.
