Imagine me late for a Monday posting. “Not too difficult” you say? For those following such things, the word just came in that “what I got off my chest” late week was reported to have been successful. In other late breaking news I’m cleaning house a bit today. Exciting stuff and I’m going at it like I was killing snakes- NOT. Mostly routine plus a few things that I’ve missed along the way. Like the shelf where I store cooking oil – Yuck! It didn’t LOOK bad but when I touched it – Double Yuck. The trouble is when you need some cooking oil or olive oil it usually isn’t a good time to clean a shelf so it gets forgotten AGAIN & AGAIN. Along with the shelf naturally all the oil containers have to be washed because that’s where the oil on the shelf came from. Oh and the front of the bathroom vanity that I never notice till I’m going North up the hall way and the light is just right or just wrong subject to your mind set at that moment. I’d rather be out trimming something and cleaning up the shop but sooner or later I have to address some of the inside stuff. My priorities are not very typical I’ve been told but they are MINE and I have a FEW, sounds sort of like opinions. (chuckle)
It’s past traditional lunch time but I’m still not ready- late breakfast that was too large but tasted too good to not finish. Speaking of breakfast, have you ever noticed than when you’re in the mood for scrambled eggs you never break the yokes getting them out- they only break when I’m going for basted or over easy. That is my “significant observation” for this morning.
A chance of Thunderstorms appears on the forecast, tonight through Wednesday so I won’t get too excited about yard work. We’ve had some monsoons this season but we’ve been really fortunate. Nothing too serious here- some tarps need replacing including the large one over the courtyard kitchen and the shop. That one is a little pricy but based on my priorities/opinion worth it (chuckle).
