Hum- I wonder what distracted me Friday morning. Oh Well – it’s certainly “water under the bridge” now. My only event on my calendar for Friday was the Desert Eagle. I was confident I wasn’t interested in the band but it was a nice evenings and there was a lot going on up town so I went. One Porter sitting outside and supervising the pedestrian traffic for an hour wasn’t too bad an early Friday for me.
Saturday I replaced the low voltage lights under The Daniel’s new shade cover and serviced the evap. cooler for them. When I got home I considered my options and elected to take a break (chuckle) but I DID get started on the shop. A little of that and I thought of FOOD. The result of that was
I grilled a mess of sirloin and flash cooked some broccoli of which there remains an excess.
Sunday I got serious about the shop. Unfortunately the shade tarp that faces the South was history therefore the sun was beating up on me. As soon as I got a clear path to it and some space on a bench I started the replacement process. Well if you don’t know about cheap tarps I’ll tell you- They are rarely exactly the specified size and often out of square so it’s hardly ever really a matter of replacement but a take down the pieces and install a new one. The difference might sound silly but believe me each time is a complete new install. The result is I believe I may get the shop into project mode meaning tools where they belong, junk junked. That last one is always the challenge, is it junk or likely inventory? Completing the shop is my assignment for today. Oh and picking up copies of the light-rail schedule and getting a few gallons of drinking water and paying a bill. But supper is ready to warm up already! It'll look a lot like the above picture.
