Oh, Oh, What happened to Wednesday? I’m sure it was just here. I do know there weren’t any major accomplishments associated with it but I also know there weren’t any real disasters associated with it either- I’d have remembered those, I think. (chuckle) Hum – I think I’ll recall it as a good day then.
Dog Gone Scout! (edited a few times) I went out this afternoon to do something and noticed a rather large puddle under it. On checking what the puddle was I discovered it to be coolant and on the other side a small puddle of power steering fluid. The steering fluid didn’t shock me – it’s leaked since I’ve had it but now it’s REALLY leaking. Not a major issue – Not too expensive and not a big job- Whoops I actually said THAT didn’t I? Good thing that life hasn’t made me superstitious, Right? It’s the coolant leak that has me bamfuzzled – I filled the radiator and brought it back into the work area. Used the yard blower to dry all the moisture off the underside and put a piece of cardboard under the engine. It hasn’t dropped even a single drop since- several hours ago. Don’t ya just hate it when something like that happens? I DO! I thought (? – scary indeed) that it might be coming from the freeze plug I replaced a while back. Well it might be because that location isn’t visible with lights & mirrors BUT why doesn’t it leak NOW? I should know more in the morning – HEY that IS a positive mental attitude, that’s what that is. That is a good thing, Right? Don’t stop to think about that Crusty just accept it and keep on trucking.
Well trucking after the Scout is ready to truck again- Gotta be soon I have the back loaded with contributions, scrap metal and cans. You didn’t know I was a greenie did ya? Well frankly I’m not much of one- The contributions have more to do with HATING to throw something away that someone can use, The scrap metal – well sort of the same way but I’ll admit if I could get rid of it easier I might- the cans, now that’s for THE CASH. (chuckle)
In the midst of this, seemingly a rant, I have to admit that I do enjoy a lot of it NOT all of it. Pardon me while I insert another (chuckle). I’m not a fan of smiley faces but sometimes I feel the need to advise readers that I’m laughing at myself – That’s your HINT- OK?
Cell phone update – getting excited yet? OH. I have one and its way smarter than me. I couldn’t provide all the internet passwords for the apps. So I went back yesterday and the young man took care of the ones I really wanted installed. The best advice from my local support group in that regard was “don’t get frustrated.” Who Me? (bare with me here (chuckle)). I know the punctuation is of my own design). I can call and receive calls reliably – all the rest is icing on the cake that I’ve done without all these many years. Frankly I’m pretty busy right now so I’ll get around to it – I think (?). I do wonder how the GPS works when you are (ME) off road? Can it do directional as opposed to routes on roads? Jump in and help me out if you know- - - “Inquiring minds want to know.” (where does that expression “Inquiring minds want to know.”) come from? In this case - MINDS is mine, singular.
I just realized something- much like a college test I took to evaluate my spelling I suspect my punctuation is much like my spelling- “Sir your spelling is exactly the way you speak.” Oh Crap – When I type my punctuation it’s like code I’m writing as if I were speaking from my notes. Break, pause, explain, forward etc. You got that – Right? I DO ask a lot of question her at “The News From Here” and I get very few answers – I can only assume – something – I’m not sure what- (chuckle)
