Well- Yesterday didn’t go like I thought I was prepared for. Oh Yeah, that’s everyday? (chuckle) I ended up re-setting the toilet with a new wax ring and after moving the portable stuff out of the bathroom to do that I realized that it was the ideal time (as if there IS a ideal time for those jobs) to wash all the walls in there. Then came the floor and down the hall etc. Yep- I pretty well used up the day. Not harried and rushed but plugging along at a comfortable pace. I have noticed that my comfortable pace doesn’t seem to get as much done as it used to. I’m going to declare that that is because of faulty recall as opposed to getting lazy, older or any of those other possible causes.
It’s breezy and not warm here today. My plans just got changed again- The city is continuing a project out on Center St. I suppose it’s actually a continuation of the new curb job. I really can’t understand the logic though. They already patched the few small places that had gotten chipped from the paving BUT now they are grinding down 2-3’ about 2’ wide of the pavement along the new curb to resurface. It can only be Federal money to spend -
I WAS going to be laying under the Scout today looking for a small coolant leak but I can’t get it to anyplace to work on. They have our side of Center blocked off. It’s another coolant leak that I can’t seem to locate. When I drive it, it stays dry when it’s parked for a day or so there is a small 3” in diameter puddle under where it drips off - from where I can’t see.
What I SHOULD DO today us dust and clean inside but . . .
