The News From Here

A rare Sunday post for “The News From Here.” Ask me why and I’d be totally clueless. Not exactly, I guess. It’s very quiet and the few projects, tasks or whatever I face I’m just not ready to do yet. I think the one that I’ll get to soon is clean out the partners Fridge. They traditionally left their condiments and a few other items that aren’t worth taking or are perishable in the fridge. Actually I use almost all the condiments usually and sometimes a frozen item or two. It’s no big deal for me and it saves them having a lot of tiny insignificant decisions at a time when they don’t want to deal with them. It’s not the labor of taking them out of the fridge and throwing them in the trash it’s the which should I do or could Roger use these or want them.
I have scheduled a trip to The Pork Shop ( http://theporkshopaz.com/) for mid day with the Daniels. I haven’t been out there in a couple years. I probably won’t buy much but their Summer Sausage, lunch meat and Brats are about the best around- anywhere at any price. Summer is getting close as it warms up I have even MORE difficulty eating – just too much trouble or I forget to even think about it and at the end of the day I’m feeling a little like something isn’t right. What on earth could it be? Then I realize I haven’t eaten and NEED to. I like sandwiches with something along with them so IF I have the fixings I’m in business, if not I have a problem.

This is the back area right now. Brad’s (Shorty’s son) home, transport, bike carrier and equipment hauler is there waiting for him to get back around the 14th. The trailer is ready for better tires and license and then WORK. It’ll be interesting to see if it works as well as I hope. How long it works is a total unknown. How long I’ll be able to use it is another. I NEED some kind of labor and if I’m reasonable in my efforts and don’t have too much stooping I should make good use of it.
