I’d written a detailed rendition of my exciting day’s events. (chuckle) It was mostly centered around working on the trailer and the Ford. Bottom line- The trailer got rub spots (tires rubbing on the inner fender when loaded) relieved inside the fenders and in about an hour will have gotten the wheel bearings repacked and the hubs & lugs painted with what we used to call Tijuana chrome- shiny silver spray paint. Later I will very likely take it for a test run for more granite. The Ford is reminding me how old it (& me) REALLY is I guess. I discovered another tiny leak. It would take days or weeks for it to leak down enough to cause a problem- Hey that’s exactly what’s been happening. (chuckle) Discovering it was what most would refer to as coincidence. One drip from the transmission cooler line fitting onto the lower radiator hose fitting and then down into a cross member never to be seen again. I know that there is rarely anything such as a SINGLE drip from a fitting. If it drips it’s a leak period, exclamation point. I had already rebuilt the upper fitting some time ago – really a long time now because of the same issue on it. All this to say it isn’t fixed yet and until I’m sure there aren’t ANY MORE tiny, tiny drips I’m not going any further with any more significant fixes.

Last night I prepared a fairly lengthy post for today. Unfortunately between copying and pasting cyberspace devoured it never to be found again. Obviously it was my fault. I varied from by usual procedure plus also this computer continues to do things that are unpredictable and certainly unexpected. Gurrrr It’s not real high on my priority list but it did move up a couple spots last night.

That’s “The News From Here” this morning. More earth shaking, exciting events recorded as they occur.
