Saturday I went and picked up 1100 lbs of landscape granite. It wasn’t quite as big a load as I intended but I noted while it was being loaded that I had a fairly close tolerance between a tire and a fender on the trailer. The load wasn’t quite even from side to side and that close fit had been a concern before. I decided to stop the loading as a safety issue. I think I can relieve that situation a little before I make another granite run. When I got home and tackled the load I kept accurate track and calculated closely. I determined I could unload, transport to a specific location, then rake and spread the granite at the rate of 300 lbs of granite per beer. (chuckle)
My yard work has become a little easier thanks to finding a 2 wheeled golf bag cart. It took some trial and error but it did what I wanted. I can carry about anything I would normally need in the front yard. I had gotten pretty tired of having to go back and get something that I couldn’t carry on my first trip out front each time I wanted to clean it up.

$5 at a thrift store. I can hang the sawsall on with a bungee cord and even add a few more tools if needed. My current plan is to leave the cart loaded and ready.
I still don’t have definitive evidence of the Ford being fixed or not. I drove quite a bit Sat. & Sun. but when I went to check the radiator coolant level Sun. it was still too warm to be certain of the actual coolant level.
Once again I have let the day get a head start on my itinerary.
Go get her going Crusty.
