It’s evening now and I salvaged a portion of the day positively – out my window anyway. You can stop by and we can sit in the courtyard without feeling like we’re in a dust bowl. I believe there was more dust and plain old dirt everywhere than when we came here. I vacuumed up the leaves & debris, Blew all the dust and dirt that would move and then washed it with the high pressure hose nozzle. It did take a while because there was so much dust and dirt that I had to wash it out the gate the then across the sidewalk and into the granite. Oh Yeah- I cut the grass both dead and alive and blew it into the compost area. OK It’s a really small grassy area but it requires a lot of attention –edging, dethatching and disposal just because when the area is so small it should be weed-less and manicured, right? Oh Yeah AND WATER. At this point I did those things, now I’ll have to wait for the grass to come back to life. Still it isn’t quite up to snuff but tolerable- tolerable enough for me to sit outside with a book till I finished it. (chuckle)
Once again I got motivated about 2-3:00 PM so darkness was chasing me to get that done. Yes I made a fresh bandage and covered my arm. Good thing too- cause it was really a dirty afternoon. I’m still dirty but not for long. . .
Breakfast with Kurt tomorrow- always a an event. Catching up, some inspiration and, well, maybe just a little B.S. in between.
