A while back I scored a box of older style low voltage yard
lights and “stuff” at a thrift store for $5. None of it had been used, not even
assembled. First of all I checked the photo cell, timer and transformer. The
cord was still wrapped up in its packing tape. It all checked out fine. SOOOO
now I have a bunch more equipment to do SOMETHING with. I’d been thinking about
adding more lights in the back lawn area. At one time I had it lighted nicely
but got tired of it I guess. For an area so small it has been through some/many
changes. My goal is NOT to over light it but to accent the Lantanas & the
lemon tree/bush. The Lantana bloom almost all the time. I’ve started a couple
of times but other than adding ONE light to check how bright it looked. It is all laying there ready for a final (for
this go round) PLAN.
In other earth shaking news from “old #5” I struggled to come up with a design to keep the trailer covered and protected from the sun. It, being made of wood, won’t last long totally exposed. I came up with plan after plan and kept junking them ALL so far. With the shade I build for working on vehicles anything else back there is almost too much visually. Oh Well – you’d think I don’t have enough on my mind but it’s the opposite, in fact. It’s just that most of the other stuff is less fun and most - kind of distasteful. (chuckle)
