The News From Here

I’m pretty good at making an entry on “The News From Here” occasionally not so good at daily anymore. Its all the fault of the days- they keep sliding by more rapidly than I realize. Strange thing – the less I do the less time I feel like I have. I AM starting to sense a pattern in all that and I don’t like it. Do I not like it enough to take action? I think so, it just won’t be very drastic though. It “feels like” I’ve really been busy and in some regards I have.
My switch over to Social Security is mostly handled yet the last and most painful – giving back a pile of money has yet to take place. I suspect it will just disappear from my account although I was assured that isn’t the way it’s done but. . .
I am still struggling with making a change with my internet, cable and landline provider. I don’t like ANY of the options. (chuckle)
My old computers are getting less than reliable not to mention obsolete and loosing capability via not being able to update supporting software.
Over in the other column
The biopsies taken a couple weeks ago came back benign so I go in on the 17th of Oct. to get them re-frozen if there’s anything left of them. My new glasses should arrive in a few days. The prescription isn’t much different but I looking forward to lighter frames- the old ones are so heavy I find myself not holding my head up and staring down at the ground. Well that might be a slight exaggeration (chuckle).
I ?think? that all the calls and contacts I needed to make this morning are taken care of so maybe I can get on with other things, fun things like going to get drinking water, picking up fallen cactus, planting some new bedding plants that have been waiting since Sunday.
