Evening
already. Well come to think of it, it’s not “already” – I got
quite a bit accomplished today AND I’ve had some supper ALSO I’m
pretty tired. Yeah that sounds like a package deal. The shade
structures from the back are disassembled and picked up. The trailer
shed disassembled & put away and the vehicle work shade structure
is marked for easier reassembly and ready to load up to go back to
Bill’s. My mobile mechanic stopped by and visited. He said he knew
he’d be in trouble if I saw his service truck in the alley in back.
(chuckle) He was doing a brake job for a neighbor and his service
truck is bright green with antennas and air horns on the roof, all of
which stick up way over the back fence height.
Earlier in the day I made a supplies, milk, juice and snacks etc, run plus a garage sale stop. The garage sale netted a metal cocktail table. Just what I need, right? But Hey – it’s all metal AND is height adjustable. Perfect condition except for stains on the table top. I tried everything likely to remove the stains without success. It got sanded and the first coat of high gloss black is drying. I think I may know someone who will want it. If not I’ll lower it to normal chair height and keep it or not.
That all done and the partners came out with drinks in hand indicating Happy Hour had begun at “Old #5.” Maybe we should re-name it Beverage and Bull Hour. As the years have gone by maybe it would be even more appropriate to call it BULL & Beverage hour. (smile)
As early as it is, I think I’ll declare it early shower and book or TV time from the horizontal position. That tends to lead to timber work pretty quickly (sawing logs).
