Morning – Hey where are the Looney Tunes cartoon?

Wow Yesterday was a pretty productive day for “old Crusty.” No mountains climbed or rivers forded but no injured or dysfunctional body parts noted and as far as I know all is well around “old #5.” The neighbor “Jose” was reported to be somewhat improved. He had a major stroke and fell at the curb out in front about a week ago.
I have all the “stuff” for a small shade structure ready to load in the Scout to return to Bill. It sure was a help this summer when I spent a LOT of time under it working on “the fleet.” Soon the Southern exposure will exclude the mass of phone wires and blinking tower lights and will be the tops of two 10’x20’ carport covers (tarps). Frankly I don’t expect to miss seeing the mess of wires and other sky pollutants but will still have the real sky visible above. The extended shaded area should hold “the partners" car through the summer, the trailer AND have work space enough to work on another vehicle. I won’t be able to get an entire vehicle under the shade but about ½ should work fine. If a major project requires more space I COULD set the trailer elsewhere short term. I will be watching for sidewall curtains for the shade structures that do show up from time to time at a local store. There is a chance that the weather might cooperate in the next week so that setting it all up will be much more pleasant a task.
