No I haven’t forgotten “The News”, well maybe a little. . . I’ve been enjoying my visit with Robin. No real vacation type things just being together. Unfortunately the weather has been “not much fun” and being outside hasn’t been desirable but I still hope to get in ONE evening in front of a big fire outside. That’s probably just “my thing” but it is something I especially enjoy. Well see.
Ok – I’ve announced it! I am officially in the market for a different car/vehicle. The future of the old Ford is limited and costly and I’m sure sorry about it. It’s done really well for the years we have had it. The immediate differential problems are fixable but very difficult and costly (plus I haven’t found one) but the real issue is IF I did fix the differential there are other issues on the near horizon. None of which are really practical to fix based on value or even practicality – That’s my current thinking anyway. Yesterday we went to look at a “90” F-150. Rough – priced well toward the top for it age & condition and it DID have some condition issues. I’m mostly focused on Ford products and old is better, up to a point for me. If I get into any older than the late 80”s then AC and sellers thinking they have an exotic collector’s car take over their logic- The Excursion Brad just detailed would work but for my taste, it is too big, and everything is electric AND IT HAS everything. To me that automatically means trouble ahead and Absolutely NO $200 fixes for anything! Oh Well I have something else to approach as a hobby – searching for a vehicle. (chuckle)
OK my wifi is not good. OK my wifi is less than almost acceptable. In fact it’s pretty much a total waste. I’m also pretty sure that it’s real cause is the building rather than a weak router. 50’ through 2 to 4 Adobe walls covered in masonry on both sides plus all the “not longer in use” iron & copper plumbing and old electrical lines have to contribute to it. Understand that I’m NOT really knowledgeable enough to chisel that in stone but that’s never kept me from having a strong opinion before. (chuckle) Now you are asking why I care I bet. I don’t NEED wifi but I guess it’s the principle of “if it’s there it should work and be available.”
