Well I did it! I actually fixed dinner outside for “the partners.” OK so it wasn’t a very creative menu but it was good and there isn’t a big mess to cleanup or anything like that. Even the tiny fridge that hadn’t been turned on, the deep fryer that hadn’t been used in a few years came back to life and functioned as well as ever. I think our arteries will survive an evening of breaded cod with tater tots, coleslaw and baked beans with Klondike bars for desert. (chuckle)
I ?think? Shorty & I got the skylight re-sealed. I was pretty uncomfortable with Shorty maneuvering on the ladder to get to it but we both made it OK. Unfortunately it seems that we are likely to get a test of it Sat. Rain coming ! Oh Well – Even onto the desert a little rain must fall.
Now I have to run to Thrifty’s and get some pictures printed for Shirley. No big deal but she’s been waiting patiently. Onward and upward on a Thursday!
