Wow TWO posts and on a Monday too.
A somewhat productive day. I located ONE container of gear oil additive at an Autozone store. They also had a small gadget that screws onto the top of a gear oil container so that one can squeeze the container and get all the fluid IN the differential housing. I’ve always tried to create one with some success but not total success. For the princely sum of $6 I now own a device that BETTER work. Now all that’s lacking is a gasket and gasket sealer PLUS the drive to “get her done.” Somehow my focus turned to the inside of my humble abode. I had noticed a slight film of dust on things and the long hallway floor from the back door was showing some footprints and drips of coffee. That sort of indicates a lack of good housekeeping or indifference toward it anyway. I don’t think I’m persnickety that way but I prefer neat and clean when practical. Oh and I had a sink with some dirty dishes -THAT’S what really started it all. I was juicing the lemons and thought I might as well do the dishes as I’ll need to wash the juicer before I return it to Shirley. So therefore as of a while ago I had vacuumed the floors, mopped the hall, cleaned the bathroom and kitchen including the floors along with dusting and doing some spot cleaning. I don’t know that I’d call it company ready but it’s OK for this old man. Speaking of the lemons - They are now 100% lemon ice cubes. I averaged well over an oz. of juice per lemon – some were really small but I was more than happy. I’m thinking after I clean myself up (scheduled for very soon) to try a bourbon sour. It’s something that I like some variations of and the lemons being not very sour at all and even a hint of sweet mixed in it might just be a tasty thing. I expect it to be similar to a bourbon & Squirt. Except for the “all natural” of course, being the “all natural” fanatic that I am. (chuckle)
